Elvis began his studies and training in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and Hypnosis in 1985 via practicum study while completing his Masters Degree at the University of South Florida. While pursuing his licensure as a Mental Health Counselor, Elvis received supervision from Dr. Dorothea Hover (Co-Founder of the Association of Comprehensive Energy Psychology and Founding Elder of Healing Touch) in methods such as Gestalt, Creative Visualization, Guided Imagery, Healing Touch, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and Energy Work. He earned his Mental Health Counselor License (LMHC - State of Florida) in 1987 while working at an inpatient facility focusing on families and working with adolescents and providing outpatient counseling in private practice. In 1989 Elvis attended a Licensed Practitioner of NLP training where he met and trained for the first time with Dr. Richard Bandler (co-creator of NLP). He was already studying Ericksonian Hypnosis and had begun training at the Milton Erickson Foundation (Phoenix, AZ – Basic-Intermediate-Advanced Modules) and continued to train with ASCH in Hypnosis. He later acquired his Licensed Master Practitioner Training & Licensed Trainers Training in NLP and took Advanced Hypnotherapy Training with Dr. Richard Bandler and is one of the few who have reached Level 9 in Design Human Engineering® (DHE®). Elvis has also trained and hosted trainings with two of the “first-ever” Licensed Master Trainers of NLP – Ed Reese, MSW, LCSW and Maryann Reese, MA, LMFT – who have been great friends and mentors to Elvis.

With over 35+ years of private practice and training experience, Elvis has created multiple models for change and trance including Neurocise®, Identity Evolution™, EMERGE™ (Eye Movement Emergence Reemergence & Guided Expression™), Eye Movement Emergence™ (EME™), Guided Eye Movement Strategies™ (GEMS™), EyePointing™ and NeuroPointing™, Psynergetics™, NeuroTrancework™ and more. He personally trains and certifies others in these models and methods via in-person/live training as well as online training and continues to do exquisite changework and trancework in Tampa, FL at the Neurocise® Studios.
